"Democracy Under Siege." Measuring 18 by 12 inches, I wanted to show the relationship between greed and democracy. I also wanted to express my deep concern about the growing wealth disparity and the unsettling acceleration of greed that threatens the very foundations of our societal structures by empowering the very few to control every aspects of our lives. It's a visual commentary on how we, as a society, allow these forces to persist. I hope "Democracy Under Siege" encourages reflection and dialogue on these pressing issues, prompting us to question the choices that underpin our world's current state.
